Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book or register to attend?

No — just turn up! Entry is free and there's no need to register. Everyone is welcome.

Is the event accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes. Rosebery Park has disabled access and there will be accessible toilets on site. The park is largely flat and open, making it easy to navigate with a wheelchair or mobility aid.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! This is a family-friendly event with entertainment, stalls and activities. Children of all ages are very welcome.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes — well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in Rosebery Park. Please be mindful of other attendees and clean up after your dog.

What should I bring?

Yourself and if you want to, a placard or sign to show your support or thoughts! There will be food available at the event, but you're welcome to bring a picnic blanket or chair if you'd like to relax on the grass. Sunscreen and a bottle of water are also a good idea if it's a warm day.

Is there parking nearby?

We would encourage everybody to use public transport where possible. Rosebery Park itself does not have a car park, but it is a short walk from Epsom town centre where several public car parks are available, including the Ashley Centre car park. The park is also easily reachable on foot or by public transport.

How can I support the event?

There are two great ways to help: you can make a donation to support our work, or volunteer to help with organising on the day. Either way, please get in touch at info@sutr-epsom-ewell.org.uk — we'd love to hear from you.

What happens if it rains?

The event will go ahead whatever the weather! Covered areas will be limited so bring a waterproof jacket and umbrella just in case.

Who is organising this event?

This event is organised by Stand Up To Racism Epsom & Ewell — a local group of concerned residents who stand for unity over division and believe everyone in our community deserves to feel safe and welcome, regardless of their ethnicity, culture or religion.
