Stand Up To Racism — Epsom & Ewell

Stand Up To Racism is a nationwide anti-racist campaign that brings together people from every background, every community and every generation to oppose racism, islamophobia, antisemitism and the rise of the far right. It is supported by major trade unions, politicians, artists and campaigners across Britain, and organises demonstrations, community events and local campaigns to mobilise the anti-racist majority.

The Epsom & Ewell chapter is made up of concerned locals who stand for unity over division, who believe that everyone in our community deserves to feel safe and welcome, regardless of their ethnicity, culture or religion. We exist to defend that principle. We aim to bring together local residents of all backgrounds to challenge prejudice where we find it, to build bridges between communities, and to make clear that racism, intimidation and hatred have no place in Epsom & Ewell.

When far-right agitators have brought hostility and fear into our town, we have stood up and spoken out — because we know that silence only emboldens those who seek to divide us. We organise unity events, community stalls and public actions because we believe the anti-racist majority must be visible, vocal and organised.
